Our opening hours are Wednesdays to Fridays 10am - 4pm and Saturdays 10am - 5pm.  Our Café serves breakfast, brunch and lunch from 10am until 2pm (until 3pm on Saturdays) and Afternoon Tea from 12 noon.

Ordering and Managing Your Account

Robineau Collect

How do I amend an order I’ve already placed?

Any orders placed through the website may be amended or cancelled by the customer by telephoning our office on 01325 489129, provided that this is done before the cut-off time stated for your particular delivery day.  From 1st April 2022 we reserve the right to charge an administration fee for refunds, a maximum of 2.9% of the total refund plus 20p.

For Thursday Delivery order before midnight on Tuesday

For Saturday Delivery order before midnight on Thursday

Is there a minimum order value?

There is no minimum order for Robineau Collect.  However you will be charged for Carrier Bags.  As a business we are now legally required to charge for these. To date we have supplied them free of charge (since 2007). Therefore there is now a small charge if you wish to have a carrier bag. The charge is the amount we buy them in at, plus vat at 20%; as per government guidelines. Prices are from 10p to 48p; size dependant. Our bags are good quality and can be re-used many times. 

How do I know if I have submitted an order?

You will receive an email confirmation upon completing your order online.

Can I place an order as a gift for somebody else?

No problem, please just let them know the order number and the name you have placed the order under.

What time can I collect my order?

Your order will be available for collection from 10am on the day you have selected. We are open until 4pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and until 5pm on Saturdays.

Can I place an order as a gift for somebody else?
Absolutely, as long as they are within our delivery area.

Delivery

Is there a delivery charge?
Each order you make is subject to a minimum delivery charge of £3.50 except for orders over £100 where delivery is free.

What time do you deliver?
Your order will be delivered between 10:30am and 3:30pm or between 4pm and 6pm if you're in Barnard Castle. In the near future we aim to give you a more accurate delivery time.

Do I have to be at home to receive my order?
If you would prefer us to deliver your order to your place of work, just put your work address in to see if we delivery there too!

Why don’t you deliver to more areas?
We are currently a very small company and our delivery area reflects that. We are hoping to extend our delivery area in the near future. If you live just outside of our current delivery area, it is always worth telephoning the office on 01325 489129 to see if we can make an exception. Our website has the capacity to collect postcodes to enable us to formulate additional future delivery routes.

How secure is your payment process?

All transactions are SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protected. Your information is securely transmitted during the processing of all payments. Our payment provider is Stripe which is a PCI Service Provider Level 1 which is the highest grade of payment processing security. You can rest assured that your payment information is safe and secure.
